Today, 27 July 2019, saw the Ladies’ Pairs competition Thanks to Sue and Peter for their work sorting the games out. The weather was glorious and well done to all the ladies who took part. Good luck to Anne & Phyllis who will play Debbie & Rachel in the final over the weekend of 17 & 18 August

Today we welcomed West End (Southampton) Tour for a very enjoyable afternoon of bowling Thank goodness summer has arrived !
On Sunday we welcomed Hertfordshire City Ladies Tour. Together with a little help from ladies from other local clubs we were able to have all seven rinks open Thanks to a lot of hard work by our members in the kitchen we were also able to offer the ladies a lunch before the match as they had just arrived in Babbacombe direct from Hertfordshire Despite a very early start in the day for all their members, they played exceptionally well The weather was kind to us and we all thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon
Since the start of the season we have welcomed various bowling clubs for friendly matches together with tourist clubs from Fossway, Avonmouth, Great Torrington, Suttons and Leicester and County. We have also hosted the Under 25’s Singles for Bowls Devon. The weather has not always been kind to us but we have all enjoyed the camaraderie.
