Men’s B Team – Message from the Captain

Congratulations to the pool of 23 members of the ‘B’ team who secured promotion to the Third Division of the Mid Devon League.
Second spot, and promotion from the Forth Division was gained by winning the last 7 games of the season and edging past the second placed team ( Marina ‘B’ ) by just 4 points.
Next season we will be playing Teignmouth Den, who were promoted with us, along with those teams remaining in the Third Division ( Kings ‘B’, Newton Abbot ‘B’, TCBC ‘C’, TCBC ‘D’ ) and the two teams relegated from the Second Division ( Paignton ‘C’ and Torquay ‘B’ ).
We look forward to the challenge ahead and continuing to enjoy our bowling.

The Men’s Over 55’s Team won the “W” division to advance to Finals day on Wednesday 16th September at Marldon 10am start along with the other divisional winners Kings, Starcross and Chudleigh.
Also congratulations to the Men’s B Team who have been promoted into the 3rd Division of the MDL.
Lastly, also through to the MDL Cup (Fours) finals day are Mike Kelly, Steve Seare, Dave Andrews and Rory Levy.  Match to be played at Torbay Country Club on Sunday 13th September 10am start.

Saturday 25th July saw the Ladies Pairs competition taking place.  Well done to all participants and congratulations to the finalists who are Debbie & Su C and Rachel & Ann.

Sunday 26th saw the Men’s Pairs competition and again a great turnout.  All participants enjoyed a great day of bowling and well done to the finalists who are Nevillle & Mike A and Mike K & Ray

May Day Bank Holiday Weekend

On Sunday 3rd May Tybie Bowling Club from Carmarthenshire included us in their tour (first two photos) and on Monday 4th May we welcomed City of Bath Tourists for another afternoon of bowling (remaining two photos).
